A Washoe County traffic stop led to an arrest after deputies found an explosive device in a vehicle. The bomb squad responded and safely secured it.

An Annapolis man was charged this week with felony manufacturing and possession of destructive devices following an investigation into illegal nighttime hunting, according to the Maryland Department of Natural Resources Police.

Trooper Kameron Watts said the bomb squad safely recovered the device, and there is no longer an active threat to public safety.
