Despite our vow to have a relaxing weekend while our boys are away… we just couldn’t help ourselves! We did, however, take the “easy” route to the top of Mt Mansfield, driving about 20 minutes up on a gravel (toll) road, leaving “only” 1000 feet to hike. The weather was perfect, the views were incredible, and we were so glad we decided to stay active. (This was by no means an easy trail, but it could have been much much longer!)
