Something a little different today, when the plants are not so abundant I don’t want to stop printing, so I decided to have a play with some clothing for a change. I showed in the film with my students some broader possibilities with this gorgeous process and I hope this may open up some ideas for you. I have been promising to show some more printing on fabric… so here we go. Ferns have to be one of my favourite things to print and I couldnt resist going for the White on Black again with this one... its just such a striking combination I think and with this I can wear it too! Ferns are often considered a symbol of sincerity and honesty. It conveys a message of genuine feelings and trustworthiness.
