A section of I-126 Westbound in Columbia was temporarily closed overnight so that a pair of 8 ft. tall, 200 ft. long steel plate girders could be placed over the interstate. Weighing approximately 300,000 pounds, this pair of girders will be part of a future ramp from I-26 to Colonial Life Boulevard.
