External cervical resorption CBCT is really the only way we can evaluate these lesions and I would say it’s mandatory to plan treatment effectively for ECR cases- because without cbct you may easily discover the tooth isn’t saveable during be procedure - but with cbct we can see the true extent and assess whether it’s worth treating , removing or montoring - for this case monitoring is the best option. If I try and remove the resorption I would be reducing the longevity of the tooth. The patient
