Empty mules midday only mean one thing… There’s a very happy hunter somewhere. We will typically have a camp cook and a wrangler in camp at all times. They have a list of duties, but when they get the notification, those duties may pause and everyone’s focus turns to getting the mules ready for packing. In our upper camp, the mules will be in a hot corral right near camp. When a bulls down, we’ll catch the mules we want to pack out. We usually have enough stock to take turns riding and packing,
