Henry Ford was known as the man who ‘put America on wheels’ with the Model T in the early 1900’s. But those wheels were no good when a snow storm would barrel through. Since the introduction of the Ford Model T in 1908, there have been people customizing or completely modifying them into something else. This footage appears to be from 1916. A Ford model T automobile has been converted into a skimobile. The modifications include cutting off the frame, removing the wheels to add skis, and adding an airplane propeller.
